ROSWELL, Ga. – A fight between two people ended in shots being fired and a man being taken into custody, police said.
The shooting was reported around 7 p.m. Tuesday near the Krystal restaurant on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.
According to the Roswell Police Department, two men were involved in a fight in the area of Holcomb Bridge Rd. and Dogwood Road, and one of the men fired several shots.
No one was injured.
The man who fired the shots, who police have identified as 34-year-old LaDarrius McCoy, then ran, hiding the handgun in an exterior freezer at the restaurant.
McCoy was later located and taken into custody. He is charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
