Man Charged After Fight Leads To Roswell Shooting

ROSWELL, GA — A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting Tuesday in the area of Holcomb Bridge and Dogwood roads, Roswell Police said Wednesday.

Police accused LaDarrius McCoy of firing several shots with a handgun around 7 p.m. during a fight with a person known to him. He was then accused of running from the scene and hiding the gun in an outside restaurant freezer before being detained by officers.

No one was injured in the shooting, and the gun was recovered, police said.

McCoy was charged on suspicion of aggravated assault, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, police said.
