The Roswell High School varsity boys basketball team defeated the visiting Hobbs High School for their first district game on Tuesday with a final score of 67-55 at the RHS main gym. The Coyotes are now 12-9 in the season and will host Carlsbad this Friday before going on a three-game road stint.
