The Roswell High School (RHS) dance team, the Charlie’s Angels, and the Goddard High School Rockettes placed first and second, respectively, on Jan. 27 at the New Mexico State University Spirit Championships in Las Cruces. The Angels placed first in Jazz and Pom, being named Grand Champions of the competition, while the Rockettes were right behind, placing second in both categories and receiving an award for “Innovative choreography.”
Both Goddard and Roswell are scheduled to participate in the Alien Spirit Jam at Roswell High School next weekend.
