It looks like Atlanta’s Monet exhibit has more than one trick under its sleeve! With spring around the corner, the multisensory experience is transforming itself into a hub for creative expression. Starting this month, Monet: The Immersive Experience presents yoga segments and mindfulness and meditation classes —bathed in the flowery pieces of the impressionist painter.
Yoga classes
Taking in Monet’s artwork is already an act of relaxation, but you’ll get to take it a step further at these special yoga sessions. Unwind as Monet’s oeuvre comes to life, using the digital projections to ground you into your practice. The art swirling around combined with gentle stretches make for the ultimate sensory experience — transporting you to the floral gardens of Giverny.
Classes guided by a professional and open to all levels. Standard admission is $40 but you can grab a VIP ticket for $70 that comes with a yoga mat and a bottle of water to keep as a souvenir! The next class is taking place on April 22. Save your spot here!
Mindfulness and meditation
And to really drive the point home (because who ever has enough relaxation?), a mindfulness and meditation segment will also be gracing the stage of Atlanta’s Monet exhibit. Led by Bernardo Louveau, the 50-60 minute experience brings you back to the present moment through stretching and meditation.
Listen to the sound of your breath as you take in all of Monet’s incredible paintings, and anchor yourself into the exact time and space for an otherworldly mindfulness experience. The first session takes place on April 25. Get tickets here!
