Police arrest suspect wanted in carjacking | Public Safety

DUNWOODY, Ga. — A 37-year-old Dunwoody man was arrested and turned over to the Brookhaven Police Department around 2 a.m. Nov. 7, after allegedly carjacking a 25-year-old Atlanta woman’s red 2015 Ford Escape.

Dunwoody officers were dispatched to Leisure Lane in reference to an agency assistance call shortly after midnight. Brookhaven officers said a carjacking had just occurred in their jurisdiction and the vehicle was headed toward the residence of David Lloyd whom they identified as the person operating the vehicle and who had made threats toward the owner of the vehicle.

Dunwoody officers arrived at Lloyd’s residence and set up a perimeter.

He was placed under arrest and turned over to Brookhaven Police without incident.
