Student at Borrendo Middle School in Roswell arrested for making threats

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office says a student was arrested after making threats at a school. Details are limited but Sheriff Mike Herrington said the student made threats to shoot the school and staff members at Berrendo Middle School.

Lockdown at the school was lifted a short time later.
