Upon their arrival, firefighters discovered the entire home was fully engulfed in flames with heavy smoke, according to Newnan Battalion Chief Damon Rosser

Firefighters from three stations set up offensive operations and the fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. Two residents sustained moderate smoke inhalation but were treated and released on scene by Coweta EMS, Rosser said.

Red Cross was contacted to assist a total of four adults who were displaced due to the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
