Work has begun on the amenity complex at Pendergrast Farm, a luxury conservation community built around a working farm near Emory University in Decatur.
A project of Healthy House of Georgia, Pendergrast Farm offers 20 energy-efficient homes priced from $1.2 million. All homes are solar-panel ready and wired for EV charging stations. Two move-in ready homes are currently available, and several custom-build lots remain.

The amenity complex, to be known as The Common House, has a kitchen and dining area for culinary events, wine tastings, cooking classes, book clubs and other events, while the lower level features a wood shop, craft area and space for other types of classes, hobbies and demonstrations. The house also features guest quarters that homeowners can reserve for visiting family and friends.
Other amenities include 5.5 acres of woods, walking trails and a stream that cuts through the property, 70% of which is preserved. A 1-acre organic working farm run by a professional onsite farmer is also part of the package.
“We’re excited to introduce our Common House, the central gathering space at Pendergrast Farm,” Healthy House President Dennis McConnell said in a press release. “A central green will host outdoor events and gatherings, while the saltwater swimming pool will provide a welcoming respite from the summer heat.”
