Retired Coweta High School teacher James Fowler will appear as Franklin Delano Roosevelt at the Senoia Area Historical Society monthly meeting on Thursday, March 14th. Fowler was featured in the Georgia Public Broadcasting documentary, “A President in our Midst: Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Georgia”. He has also served as a reenactor at the Little White House in Warm Springs, GA. FDR was the 32nd president from 1933 until his death in 1945 and he helped lead the nation through the Great Depression as well as World War II – in addition to bringing electricity to the south.
The Senoia Area Historical Society is dedicated to collecting and sharing Senoia’s history. The public is welcome to attend the SAHS program on Thursday, March 14th at the SAHS Museum located at 6 Couch Street. The doors open at 6:30 and the program will start at 7:00 PM.
