Each semester, Emory University’s “Cinematheque” film series dives deep into intriguing themes and distinctive directors. Now Cinematheque is tackling a new theme: “A.I. and Film: From HAL to Her.”

The series features blockbuster paradigm shifts like “The Matrix” and “The Terminator,” while also introducing us to lesser-known gems that bring other voices into the hot topics of selfhood, agency and ethics in the digital age.
