Kintigh accused of not following city’s campaign contribution ordinance | Local News

The city of Roswell has filed a complaint in Chaves County 5th Judicial District Court against former Roswell Mayor Dennis Kintigh, alleging that Kintigh violated reporting requirements as well as some other campaign donation specifications contained in the city’s Campaign Finance Ordinance.

In a letter sent to Kintigh both by email and by certified mail in early October to his home address, for which a family member is said to have signed, it states that the third round of campaign reports for municipal elections came and went, and “based upon the filings of four different candidates, you presently appear to be in violation of Roswell’s Campaign Finance Law, Ordinance 23-06.”
