Items taken from van at rental car company | Public Safety

ROSWELL, Ga. — Roswell Police are investigating the theft of $3,200 in electronics that occurred Feb. 20 at Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Alpharetta Highway.

The victim, a 50-year-old Alpharetta man, called Roswell Police Feb. 23 to report the theft.

He said he was gathering his belongings out of a minivan and placing them into a rental vehicle.

During the transfer, the victim said someone took his MacBook and iPhone from the trunk of the van.

The electronics are worth about $3,200.

The officer said the victim used Find My iPhone to locate his laptop in Oakwood, a city along I-985 in Hall County.

The victim said he would provide the serial numbers for the electronics.
