Eldorado has no trouble against Roswell

Eldorado stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past the Roswell Coyotes 16-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eldorado.

Abram Pine looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (he also didn’t allow any walks). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn’t given up a single walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Quinn Teupell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, six RBI, and two runs. Jace Sanchez-Reynolds was another key contributor, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with a home run and three RBI.

On Roswell’s side, Jayce Griffin was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits (he also only allowed one walk).

On the hitting side, Jackson McDonald and Eli Lynn stepped up to the plate in a big way. McDonald scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Lynn went 3-for-3 with three RBI and a double.

Eldorado is on a roll lately: they’ve won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Roswell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
