The Beach at Cauble ParkÂ

Cauble Park is one of the closest beaches to Atlanta. The beach season begins the last weekend in April and lasts through Labor Day. It is free to park and swim. Other park amenities include public restrooms, a playground, volleyball courts, fishing, boating, rentals, and more. Hours are from dawn to dusk.
The Beach at Red Top Mountain State ParkÂ
100 Red Top Beach Road Cartersville, GA 30121
Enjoy the roped-off sandy swimming beach on the southeastern portion of the Park. Red Top Mountain State Park is open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. There is a parking fee of $5.00 for the day. You can also purchase an annual parking pass for $50 if you plan to make many trips to the park. There is a swimming beach with public bathrooms nearby too. Other nearby amenities of the park include a putt-putt golf course, playground, and picnic tables with barbecue grills. Make a day of it!
Mary Alice BeachÂ
1820 Mary Alice Park Road Cumming, GA 30041
Mary Alice Park is located on the west side of Lake Lanier. Park hours are from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm. The park has public restrooms, barbecue grills, picnic tables, and a long sandy beach area for sunning or swimming.
Don Carter State ParkÂ
5000 North Browning Bridge Road Gainsville, GA 30506
Located on Lake Lanier, Don Carter State Park is located on the north end of the reservoir. The park is open from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm and the parking fee is $5 per vehicle per day.
