Police investigate fatal officer-involved shooting in Roswell

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting Wednesday involving the Roswell Police Department that left a suspect dead.

NMSP says Roswell Police were involved in a shooting near South Sunset and West McGaffey. A suspect was killed during the shooting and no officers were injured. The public is asked to avoid the area.
