Annual concert fundraiser for the Roswell Jazz Festival
This year’s annual fundraiser for the Roswell Jazz Festival features New York pianist Ted Rosenthal, Richard Simon on bass and Ricky Malichi on drums. The concert takes place at the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art, 409 E. College Blvd., from 2 to 4 p.m. For more information, visit roswelljazz.org.

Artfaire Arts and Crafts Show
The Annual Artfaire Arts and Crafts Show takes place at the Roswell Convention Center. Doors are open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The silent auction will be benefitting Pecos Valley Public Services. Arbor Day seedling giveaway
The city of Roswell’s Keep Roswell Beautiful program will be again handing out tree seedlings at Spring River Zoo park, 1306 E. College Blvd., from 9 to 11 a.m. The free event is on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The seedlings are types that are well adapted to this area and usually do well in this region. Expected are Afghan pine, Arizona sycamore, bur oak, hackberry lilac, New Mexico locust, piñon and Rocky Mountain juniper. ART NM! Arts and Culture Day
The third ART NM! Arts and Culture Day takes place at the Roswell Museum, 1011 N. Richardson Ave., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., during the museum’s Second Saturday event. This year’s theme is “Western Skies.” The free, family-friendly event includes projects and art and craft activities from artists, organizations and museums in Roswell.
