Pecos Elementary School placed on lockdown after report of a teacher being threatened with a gun | Local News

A southeast Roswell elementary school was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after someone allegedly pulled a gun on a teacher while on school property.

Todd Wildermuth, public information officer with the Roswell Police Department (RPD), told the Roswell Daily Record in an email that because of the reports, police would increase their presence at Pecos Elementary School at 600 East Hobbs St. when students were dismissed from school later that day.
