Sandy Creek High’s Gabrielle Ferguson completed 145 community service hours to earn the Barbara James Service Award – Bronze Level from HOSA.

Sandy Creek High’s Gabrielle Ferguson believes in giving to others, and she was honored for her dedication with a Barbara James Service Award by HOSA.

Ferguson completed 145 community service hours during the 2022-23 school year, earning bronze level recognition at the HOSA International Leadership Conference over the summer.

The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill, and leadership development of all health science technology education students, helping students to meet the needs of the health care community. The leadership organization encourages members to contribute to their communities by performing worthy volunteer community service hours related to health.
