Chattanooga Red Wolves’ unbeaten home streak ends; Chattanooga FC’s road match postponed

Staff file photo by Olivia Ross / The Chattanooga Red Wolves lost 3-2 in a home match against Union Omaha on Saturday at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge.

A three-game unbeaten streak at home came to an end for the Chattanooga Red Wolves, who played down a man from the 58th minute on in Saturday’s 3-2 loss to Union Omaha at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge.

The Red Wolves, who have held a USL League One opponent scoreless just twice in 28 games this season, allowed all three of Omaha’s goals in the first half.

Omaha’s Steevan Dos Santos scored first in the 18th minute, and Marco Milanese, with an assist from John Scearce, made it 2-0 in the 34th minute. Chattanooga’s Ryley Kraft cut that lead in half five minutes later, but the visitors scored in added time at the end of the first half, with Joseph Brito getting the goal on Luis Gil’s assist to make it 3-1.
