Police investigate death of woman, cite possession of dangerous drugs

MILTON, Ga. — Police are investigating the death of a 36-year-old Milton woman after responding to a medical emergency call to her residence on the city’s east side Sept. 2.

In the incident report, police cited possession of dangerous drugs, but Milton Police Lt. Andrew Noblett said there was no violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

No other information was provided in the police report. For other death investigations, Milton Police Capt. Charles Barstow had said no additional information could be released because of their active status and that cases would remain under investigation until detectives receive the final report from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
