ATLANTA, GA — Metro Atlanta residents may want to carry an umbrella with them this week as weather officials forecast light showers for the area.
Showers could start as soon as sometime after 2 p.m. Tuesday and last through Thursday, Dylan Lusk, meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s Peachtree City office, told Patch.

Lusk said the storm is anticipated to either move out into the Atlantic or fade away completely. He said another storm could form later Tuesday or Wednesday but is forecast to carry out into the Atlantic.
