The fundraiser for Jacques “Jay” Rougeau was sensational to say the least. The donations toward the scholarship topped $6,000. There were people there who had not been to a Corry volleyball match in years, some there for the first time. Kudos to all those involved. A tip of the cap to Krista Jackson, Darlene and Jeff’s daughter, for coming in her state police uniform and staying for the entire match. Nice to see Chip Williams working with new official L.J. You may know Billie Jo, she works the counter at Cam Tire. In all my years, Billie Jo is the first female I’ve seen on the chain gang.
