Home burglarized of $4,000 cash, items

MILTON, Ga. — Police were dispatched to a home on Greenview Terrace that had been burglarized Oct. 12.

Police said they noticed signs of forced entry with shattered glass on the ground. Conducting a sweep of the home, police confirmed a safe containing important documents, roughly $4,000 in cash and two handguns was missing. About $20,000 in jewelry had also been taken.

The victim’s neighbor told police he had seen a light moving from inside the house that night. 

He also told police he had seen a suspicious man at the community’s tennis courts an hour before, who eventually walked through the parking lot of the club house, but that he did not know which direction the man had traveled afterward.
