Mayor Deegan has just completed 100 days as the first female elected to lead the Consolidated City of Jacksonville, Florida.

Nate Monroe of the Florida Times Union New Paper published an article high lighting this arbititary demarcation in the city`s history. “100 days in, Mayor Donna Deegan`s promises, for change, unity face headwinds”.

Monroe cited in his article he “found some of her decisions in these early days – particularly on which fights to pick – a bit puzzling”.

Because of Monroe perplexing moments to comprehend and understand exactly what is going on in Mayor Deegan`s administration, a question is raised, “Who is advising Mayor Donna Deegan?

Who advised Mayor Deegan not to demand that a national press conference be conducted at City Hall? This critical error in decision making allowed the Sheriff T. K. Waters to snatch the national spot light from the Mayor in the moment of a horrible “racist shooting” killing three Black Citizens in the Black Community.

Who advised Mayor Deegan to recommend Al Ferraro for Director of Neighborhoods requiring a degree waiver from City Council?

Who advised Mayor Deegan to recommend Randy Defoor as head of the Office of General Counsel requiring a waiver from City Council?

Who advised Mayor Deegan`s staff to tell Ben Becker from CBS 47 Action News, she would offer a comment to the “JSO beat down” at the Ocean Way Community? And yet she stormed out, failing to give a comment to the City and Black Community about police brutality, as of this date.

Who advised Mayor Deegan to give a written statement about the terrorist attack? Did Deegan`s staff think the City and Black community had forgotten about her failure, to provide a comment about this police brutality incident against a Black Man in Jacksonville?
