He has a distinguished record of community service, having served on the boards of several prominent organizations including the Newnan Kiwanis Club, Habitat for Humanity, the United Way, and the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Johnson resides in Peachtree City with his wife Lynsey and their two daughters.

Stepping down from the position of Chairman of the Board, but remaining on the board, is J. Neal Shepard, Jr., President of Neal Shepard and Associates, Inc. With 35 years of experience in the life insurance business, Shepard has been a dedicated member of the Coweta-Fayette EMC board for 29 years, where he currently serves as Chairman. He has also served multiple terms in the Georgia Legislature and is the Chairman of the Coweta County Water and Sewer Authority. Shepard is a graduate of West Georgia State University and resides in Newnan, Ga., with his wife Jodie.

Additionally, reappointed to the True Natural Gas board are James Lee Hunter, serving as the Vice Chairman, and Therol R. Brown, serving as the Secretary/Treasurer. Hunter, a retired Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Southwire Company, holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the State University of West Georgia.
