Smyrna in the news:

  1. The Smyrna Business Association invites locals to support community businesses by shopping locally on Saturday, Nov. 25 as part of the “Shop Smyrna Saturday” event. Shoppers can participate in a special draw by visiting participating businesses, scanning an in-store QR code, and entering to win one of three $100 gift cards. The event, sponsored by various local businesses, will take place all day at 200 Village Green Circle SE in Smyrna; no registration is required to participate. (Smyrna Business Association)
  2. Fine Fettle, set to open facilities in Smyrna and across the Atlanta metro, is among four companies awarded licenses to produce low-THC oil in Georgia. This expansion aims to serve patients with severe ailments, including cancer and post-traumatic stress disorder, across the state. Though Georgia initially passed a medical marijuana bill in 2015, years of ongoing legislation were required for many to obtain their medicine. (wabe.org)
