Friars Making First Appearance In the Bahamas:  The Friars are making their first appearance all-time in the Bahamas.

Friars Versus Georgia: Providence and Georgia will meet for the first time ever on Sunday, November 18.  Friar Assistant Coach Dennis Felton was the head coach of the Bulldogs from 2003-09.  His 2008 Georgia team won four games in three days to win the SEC Tournament and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

Friar Tid Bits:

*The Friars’ loss in overtime to Kansas State on Friday moved the team’s all-time record to 77-71 in overtime games.

*The Friars have posted a 104-75 mark all-time in in-season tournaments.

*Devin Carter is leading the Friars in scoring (16.5 ppg) and is second on the team in rebounding (6.8 rpg).

*Bryce Hopkins recorded 10 pts/10 rbs for his 12th career double-double in PC’s overtime loss to KSU on 11/17.

*PC shot a season best 24-41 (58.5%) versus Wisconsin on 11/14.

*Over the last three games, the Friars have out scored their opponents 26-1 on fast-break points.

*Devin Carter scored 21 points versus Wisconsin, it was the eighth time in his career where he scored 20+ points.

*Josh Oduro was 6-6 from the field and scored 13 points versus Wisconsin on 11/14.

*Josh Oduro registered 13 pts/12 rbs for his 16th career double-double in PC’s win over Milwaukee on 11/11.

*Jayden Pierre had a career-high 16 points on 5-10 shooting in PC’s win over Milwaukee on 11/11.

*Garwey Dual scored 14 points and added four assists versus Milwaukee on 11/11.

*Five Friars scored in double figures in the win over Milwaukee (Oduro, Hopkins, Pierre, Carter, Dual).

*The Friars have seven newcomers on the roster this season.
