Coaches Poll Top 25 sees Georgia as near-unanimous No. 1 entering Week 13

16. Arizona (8-3) — The climb continues for the Wildcats, this time with a 42-18 victory over No. 16 Utah. Noah Fifita threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns in a statement game against the Utes. 

“From training camp, I felt like we had a good team,” Arizona coach Jedd Fisch said. “And you could just kind of get a sense that when you think you’re a good team and feel like you’re a good team, you can see it and our guys. They play confidently. They believe in one another. They believe in what the mission is.”

17. Notre Dame (8-3) Facing his former teammates at Wake Forest, Sam Hartman threw for 277 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-7 victory for Notre Dame. Audric Estime added 115 rushing yards and a touchdown.

18. Tulane (10-1) — The Green Wave move to 7-0 in AAC action following a 24-8 victory over FAU. Michael Pratt completed 75% of his passes for 252 yards and three touchdowns. Tulane faces UTSA on Friday at the top of the American Athletic Conference standings. Tulane was last week’s highest-rated Group of Five team in the College Football Playoff rankings, and should be again tomorrow night.

19. Iowa (9-2) — The Hawkeyes rallied in the fourth quarter for a 15-13 victory over Illinois that clinches the Big Ten West title. Kaleb Johnson ran in a 30-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to win the game.

20. Kansas State — The Wildcats beat rival Kansas, 31-27. Will Howard threw for 165 yards with two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown.
