Sybil Louise Reynolds
A funeral service for Sybil Louise Reynolds, age 90, of Roswell, NM, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Sybil passed away Friday, November 17, 2023.
Sybil was born December 6, 1932, to Alvie Rodgers and Pearl Mae Meddling in Marmaduke, Arkansas.
Sybil was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She was valedictorian of Marmaduke High School. Sybil attended the college of Sequoias in Visalia, California. She married Toney Reynolds on June 2, 1954, and was the family CFO and CEO, the glue holding the family together.
Sybil was preceded in death by her parents, Alvie and Pearl Rodgers; brother, Aaron Carl Rodgers and Husband, Toney George Reynolds.
Those left to cherish Sybil’s memory are, son, George Reynolds and wife Julia of Roswell, NM; daughter, Toni Reynolds and husband Dan Barley of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Terri Reynolds Cooper of Dallas, TX. Sybil was blessed with 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Richardson, Ben Greathouse, Mason Greathouse, Breadon Greathouse, Peyton Greathouse, Noah Richardson, and Tristan Greathouse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Sybil’s name to Portales Children’s Home.
