Less than 24 hours after announcing a decision to transfer from Penn, all-Ivy League defensive tackle Joey Slackman picked up six offers, including four from Power 5 programs.
The 6-foot-4, 300-poound Slackman was first offered by Connecticut, and then BYU, Pittsburgh, Houston, Illinois and Rutgers were quick to follow.
Slackman, who played at Long Island’s Commack (N.Y.) High, has one year of eligibility remaining.
