The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway in the Cumberland area, will have the Bluey live show “Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show!” from July 13-14 with shows at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Emmy Award-winning animated preschool series airs on Disney Junior, Disney Channel and Disney+. The live theater show will feature puppetry, live actors and iconic sets. Based on an original new story written by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, the show also contains new music by Bluey composer Joff Bush.

The Kiwanis Club of Marietta will present Art and Music Showcases.

The music showcase will be Feb. 29 at 6 p.m. at The Gardens of Kennesaw Mountain. It will highlight the talent of students in grades 9-12 in the Cobb County and Marietta City school districts.

The art showcase will be March 2 at 2 p.m. at Marietta High Performing Arts Center. It will highlight the artwork of students in grades 6-12 in both districts.

Prizes will be awarded and a chance to move forward to the district for the top recipients. District-level winners will be awarded scholarship funds.

The Cobb County Public Library’s Spring Book Sale will be March 8-10 at the Cobb Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Parkway SE in Marietta.

Sale hours are March 8-9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and March 10 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Materials for sale include books for all ages in both hardcover and paperback, DVDs, Books on CD and audiocassette and magazines. Prices range from 10-cents to $4. On March 8 until 1 p.m., electronic scanning devices are not permitted and there will be a limit of two boxes of items at a time. All profits from this book sale go directly to buying more items for Cobb County Public Library’s 15 branches and bookmobile.
