Google is bringing AI to popular workspace apps

Google is bringing AI to key workspace apps, including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides. The company is currently testing several AI products and making them accessible to a select number of users. The features were put into production in late 2022 after the launch of the popular AI tool ChatGPT.

The AI-powered tools in testing will be able to draft or reply to emails, proofread docs, brainstorm docs, add AI images into slides, formula generation and more. However, Google hasn’t announced when the AI features will be available to all users or if they will be free.
