Colombia is inviting Georgia firms looking to diversify their product sourcing to its 100th matchmaking forum, this year held in the coastal tourism hub of Cartagena.
The four-day event is to run from April 22-26. Upon registration and filling out a profile, buyers from the U.S. will be paired with compatible Colombian manufacturers for one-on-one meetings. Â
Georgia buyers who have not yet participated in a ProColombia buyer’s mission can also get a boost from the country’s trade promotion agency in the form of a $500 reimbursement after the trip.Â
Those who have attended previous missions can also qualify if they can show that they have done continuous business in Colombia, says Hernando Galindo, ProColombia’s Atlanta representative.Â
Deadline for registration is March 9. Industries of focus include agriculture, textiles and apparel, Industry 4.0, chemicals, life sciences, metal working and other manufacturing. Learn more about the supplier categories here
