Georgia Dept. of Education Surveys for Schools/Parents

by Fulton Watch News Feed

The Georgia Department of Education requiring all state schools to administer the 2023-24 Student Health Survey to all students in grades 3-12 this year. Additionally, school personnel and parents/guardians are encouraged to participate in completing versions of the survey.

The Georgia Parent Survey, available in English and Spanish, aims to gauge parent perceptions of school climate. Responses are confidential and will contribute to identifying areas for improvement, alongside responses from other parents/guardians.

All survey data, including from students, staff, and families, will factor into GaDOE’s calculation of School Climate Star Ratings for the 2024-25 school year.

To contribute, individuals are urged to complete the 10-15 survey by Friday, March 1 at https://gshs.gadoe.org/Pages/parent.aspx.
