Soprano Renee Fleming is world-renowned for her exquisite voice and acting. She’s also a tireless advocate for research at the intersection of the arts and health.
As artistic advisor at-large to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Fleming has spearheaded a groundbreaking collaboration with the National Institutes of Health.
She has presented this material in over fifty cities and will lead a panel discussion in Atlanta with Dr. Sanjay Gupta on April 12 at the Woodruff Arts Center. The event, “Music and Mind,” takes its name from the title of the new book Fleming has edited.
