Carrollton City Schools students named district ‘Young Author’ winners | Times Georgian

Thirteen Carrollton City Schools students have been named district-level winners in the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition and have advanced to the regional contest.

At Carrollton Elementary, kindergartner Parker Hunt won his grade level with a story titled “Snow.” Zoe Pacheo Lopez’s work, “Fallen Angel,” earned her first-grade honors. Brooklyn Cobb, who wrote “Scary Forest,” represents second grade, and Kopelynn Phillips represents third grade with “The Wolves.”
