Fastenal to build new distribution center in Carrollton | Times Georgian

Fastenal will be using the site to replace a legacy distribution center in the Atlanta metro area with a new state-of-the-art distribution center. With the large land acquisition, the new facility will be able to support Fastenal branches and customers throughout the Southeast for decades to come as the company continues to grow. Officials with Fastenal, which already operates a local sales branch in Carrollton, anticipates that the facility will employ around 280 people.

“We’re excited for the community to really get to know who Fastenal is,” said Will Roedeske, Fastenal’s vice president of distribution. “At the heart of it, we are a people-centered organization with a goal of ‘Growth Through Customer Service.’ This means continuously investing in our service capabilities; investing in (and creating opportunities for) our ‘Blue Team’; and also investing in the communities in which we operate.”

Fastenal’s decision to expand its presence in Carroll County is the culmination of close collaboration among the City of Carrollton, Carroll Tomorrow, and the Carrollton Payroll Development Authority.

The accomplishment is in line with these entities’ commitment to drive economic progress and well-being in the community, local officials said.
