After hitting .241 in 34 games last season as a freshman with two home runs, the right-handed slugger hit three in ABAC’s first six games. Just eight games into the season, he has driven in ten runs.

In the Golden Stallions game last Saturday against Cleveland State, Cash had two homers in three at-bats and drove in five runs in ABAC’s 7-4 victory. The day before, he had two RBIs in their 8-7 walk-off win against the same team.

During his senior season with the Cougars, Cash hit .370 with ten doubles, three home runs, and 26 RBIs. He was Newnan’s closer and finished with four saves in 21 innings of work.

The Golden Stallions compete in Region XVII of the National Junior College Athletic Association at the NJCAA Division I level as a Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association member.

Cash and his teammates will be in LaGrange on Saturday, Feb.10, for a doubleheader against LaGrange College and will play games nearby at Gordon State College in Barnesville, Georgia, in April.
