‘Hot Rods for History’ returns to Senoia | News

When asked how this car show is different from the car show that Senoia hosts in the fall, Senoia Area Historical Society President Steve Maloy said, “This show is unique in that the show cars will be parked at the beautiful Marimac lake, which really highlights the beauty of the cars. The concourse style is unique and very inviting to guests and those displaying their vehicles. Unlike the fall show, the spring event does not have any age restrictions. We named the event ‘Hot Rods for History,’ but all vehicles are welcome.”

Car enthusiasts like Maloy are probably ready to enjoy the spring weather and some awesome cars.

“This will be one of the largest car shows in the early 2024 season, and certainly south of Atlanta. Senoia has a great car scene. We are planning something new this year, an exit parade. After the award ceremony, cars will slowly exit over the bridge and down the street between the library and lake. This will give spectators a chance to see hundreds of cars/trucks/motorcycles in motion as they depart the grounds.”

Those wishing to display their collector or performance car, truck or motorcycle are asked to register ahead for $20 per vehicle. Same day registration is also available for $25/per car, truck or motorcycle, and trophies will be awarded.
