John Noble Powell, 89, of Temple, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Villa Rica, Georgia. He was born to Quaina Powell and Lillie Harris Cato on May 8, 1934 in Villa Rica, Georgia. Noble will be remembered as a guy who could fix anything. He was a skilled masonry contractor proficient in bricklaying and was also a heavy equipment operator. Noble was a pro at pretty much everything he touched; he approached every task with a confident ease that left many in awe. During his free time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. Noble, affectionately called “Paw Paw” by his grandchildren, was a great story teller. He was an open book who loved sharing captivating stories with his children and grandchildren providing colorful details about his rich past.
Noble was affiliated with New Canaan Baptist Church of Temple, GA.
