Three denied bond in weekend murder case | Douglasville Sentinel

The three are accused of shooting Anibal Romero, 31, in the head early Saturday morning at 1100 North Blairs Bridge Rd. in Lithia Springs.

No motive was given for the murder.

Trimier was identified as the gunman while Palacios and Hall were called ‘participants’ in the murder.

“I’m going to decline to grant bond at this time,” McClain told the three defendants.

Trimier and Hall were dressed in orange-and-white-striped jumpsuits while Palacios was in a beige jumpsuit.

None of the defendants spoke during the first appearance as they were represented by a public defender.

Assistant District Attorney Brook Demeke didn’t offer any details of the case.

McClain read the charges from the arrest warrants before telling the defendants their rights.

Some family members of the defendants were in attendance for the first appearance.

After McClain’s ruling, the defendants were escorted out the courtroom.

“You are in the custody of the jail,” McClain told the three, who sat during the proceedings with their arms and legs in shackles. “You can go back now.”
