Olumuyiwa Fashanu
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State offensive tackle Olumuyiwa Fashanu was selected Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year to headline 12 Penn State offensive players garnering All-Big Ten honors on Wednesday. Fashanu was named first-team All-Big Ten by the coaches and media.

Fashanu is Penn State’s second Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year joining A.Q Shipley (2008). Fashanu became Penn State’s 38th major award winner for conference awards and the 12th in the James Franklin era.

Joining Fashanu as All-Big Ten selections were RB Kaytron Allen (second team), OL Hunter Nourzad (second team), RB Nicholas Singleton (third team), TE Tyler Warren (third team), QB Drew Allar (honorable mention), OL Olaivavega Ioane (honorable mention), TE Theo Johnson (honorable mention), WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith (honorable mention), OL JB Nelson (honorable mention), OL Caedan Wallace (honorable mention) and OL Sal Wormley (honorable mention).

The Penn State offense ranks fourth in the country in red zone conversion percentage (95.1), 14th in scoring offense (37.2), 26th in rushing offense (186.7; 1st in Big Ten), while holding 10th in time of possession (33:02). PSU has tallied a Big Ten-best 271 first downs.
