The pressure was on Georgia’s offense from the jump after an early score by Tennessee, but the Bulldogs battled the Neyland Stadium noise and held their own. In short order, Georgia was clicking on all cylinders and left Tennessee in the dust.

Georgia racked up 284 yards in the first half thanks in large part to a passing attack that picked Tennessee apart through 30 minutes of action. The Bulldogs scored on four of its five first-half drives, and three of those possessions ended with seven points. Given how hard it can be to play in Neyland Stadium in tight games, it was huge for the Bulldogs to build a lead and set themselves up for second-half success.

By night’s end, Georgia had over 472 yards of offense. Carson Beck ended the game 24-of-30 passing for 298 yards with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Perhaps the most impressive part of Georgia’s offensive showing was its play on third down. The Bulldogs were clutch on the money down throughout the game and kept drive after drive alive.
