Foley, Ala. –
(OBA) – This year’s judge for Foley’s 51st Art in the Park will be Micah Cain who got a bachelor’s and master’s in fine arts at two Georgia colleges.

The following year, he became Assistant Professor of Art instructing classes in art appreciation, ceramics and design.

During the next eight years, he continued to develop his work and teaching philosophy until he knew it was time for a change.  After the spring semester of 2019, Micah resigned from his position at Shorter University having accepted a faculty position at Pensacola State College. Micah and his wife are excited about their home along the Gulf Coast and Micah enjoys working with a great faculty and a wonderful clay community.

His teaching skills include courses in 2-D and 3-D Design, Art Appreciation, Ceramics, Sculpture, Senior Research and Senior Project; he works with the student mentoring program as well as Art Club advising.
