Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s Golf Event Raises $225K — Encore Atlanta

More than 120 golfers hit the links at Peachtree Golf Club this summer for the Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s 11th Annual Tournament for PLAY, presented by PNC Bank.

The turnout helped the museum raise $225,000 for educational exhibits and mission-based work in the community, which provides access to play-based learning to thousands of children each year.

David Ankenbrant, CEO of the Osprey Corporation, chaired this year’s event, and key sponsors included Mellow Mushroom as the Albatross Sponsor, Lexis Nexis as the Breakfast Sponsor and Osprey Corporation as the Golf Cart Sponsor.

“This fundraiser provides critical exposure and support to the Museum’s cutting-edge, educational and interactive children’s programs for Atlanta families,” said Eddie Meyers, PNC regional president for Greater Georgia. “Every Tournament for PLAY benefits the next generation of leaders, and it’s an honor for PNC to continue this investment in the future of our community.”
