Clayton County Public Schools recently celebrated Read Across America Day at E.J. Swint and at Thurgood Marshall elementary schools as CCPS leadership staff read to students.
At Swint, CCPS Chief Academic Officer for Secondary Schools Timothy Guiney read “The Proudest Blue: A Story of Hijab and Family,” written by Olympic medalist Ibtihaj Muhammad with S.K. Ali and art by Egyptian illustrator Hatem Aly.
