AlcoHall, a pun-intended drinks hall akin to a food hall, opens at Pullman Yards in Kirkwood Saturday, June 10. But a grand opening sneak peek takes place Thursday, June 8, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Located in building one (formerly an engineering and upholstery shop), AlcoHall opens onto the property’s rail park where people currently enjoy lawn games, bocce ball, and pickleball and have access to full-service restaurants Dailies and Sides and Fishmonger.
Pullman Yards and Atomic Entertainment owners Adam Rosenfelt and Maureen Meulen call AlcoHall — which includes seven drink stalls serving cocktails, flights, and beers on tap, along with billiards and even mechanical bulls and shuffleboard — a “choose-your-own adventure” for booze all under one roof.
Each stall at AlcoHall operates independently and features different brands ranging from wine and whiskey to gin and beer. Non-alcoholic drinks should also be available. Brands in the hall rotate seasonally. People must be 21 to enter AlcoHall and receive either a wristband or stamp once their ID is checked.
Here’s the opening stall lineup:
- Wicked Weed Brewing based in Asheville, North Carolina
- Shortbarrel Bourbon based in Norcross, the company recently acquired Old Fourth Ward Distillery.
- Three Chord Bourbon owned Neil Giraldo, guitarist and husband of singer/songwriter Pat Benatar.
- House of Suntory Japanese whisky, gin, and vodka.
- Desert Door West Texas distillery specializing in sotol.
- Babylonstoren Winery South African vineyard in the Franschhoek Wine Valley.
- Don Papa Rum based in the Philippines around the foothills of volcano Mount Kanlaon.
Currently, Shortbarrel Bourbon is the only local beverage brand in residence at AlcoHall.
