Forest Park to hold Girls’ Future Firefighter Camp | News

The camp is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the Gillem Public Safety Building at 2090 Anvil Block Road and led by several female fire professionals who have achieved success in the field.

Topics to be covered include fire service history, fire behavior, fire extinguishers, CPR, physical fitness, first aid, and teamwork.

Slots for the camp are limited and participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

All applications for the camp must be submitted to Chief Latosha Clemons via email at lclemons@forestparkga.gov by 5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15. To access the application, visit www.forestparkga.gov/fire and click on the “Girls’ Future Firefighter Camp” tab on the left-hand side of the webpage.
