Georgia Trust hosts Legends and Lore Tour at Rhodes Hall | News

Guests will be able to tour the 1904 “Castle on Peachtree” and hear some of the spine-chilling experiences and encounters that have been reported by visitors and staff.

Known as one of Atlanta’s most haunted buildings, Rhodes Hall has been featured on TV shows such as “Ghost Hunters,” WSB’s “Georgia’s Haunted Hidden Gems” and Fox 5’s “Good Day Atlanta”.

New this year is the “Hidden Spaces Tour” beginning at 8 p.m. Guests will tour the most haunted spaces of Rhodes Hall that are not open to the public. Tour the fourth floor Children’s Playroom and the basement level where the most paranormal activity has been reported.

Both tour options include an opportunity for guests to enjoy “spirits” on the porch before the tour (pre-tour beer and wine are included in the ticket price). Spaces are limited, and the tours are for ages 21 and up.

All proceeds benefit the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation’s mission to work for the preservation and revitalization of Georgia’s diverse historic resources and advocate their appreciation, protection and use.

One of the last remaining mansions that once lined Peachtree Street, Rhodes Hall was designed for furniture magnate Amos Giles Rhodes and his family. Rhodes Hall is now the headquarters for the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and is operated as a historic house museum.
